Welcome to the Post Polio Support Group Website

The POST POLIO SUPPORT GROUP is an organisation set up by Polio Survivors to assist their fellow survivors, particularly in relation to the Late Effects of Polio and Post Polio Syndrome. The Group was formed in 1993 and is run by a voluntary Board of Polio Survivors and friends, and is supported by voluntary committees, other voluntary workers and a small executive staff at the office in Dublin. "Our Mission is to create awaremess and to provide information regarding the late effects of polio among polio survivors, statutory agencies and the wider medical profession, and to ensure that the needs of Polio Survivors relating to their condition are met to enable them to live wih dignity"
