Fundraising

The Post Polio Support Group exists to offer a comprehensive system of supports to Polio Survivors. Fundraising is key to knitting these together. The proceeds raised are applied speedily and directly to meet a variety of Survivor needs. They complement the funding from the Health Service Executive which covers administration and certain service provisions.

Most importantly, as a result of the generosity of our benefactors, the Post Polio Support Group has an increased capacity to respond flexibly to the needs of Polio Survivors, particularly in stressful or emergency situations.

The Post Polio Support Group wishes to sincerely thank all those who took part in Marathons and other Events on its behalf. They also wish to thank all sponsors or donors. We hope you will accept this statement as acknowledgement of your contribution, so the funds raised can all be used in helping Polio Survivors.
